Park Avenue Records (PAR) provides students interested in the music and entertainment industry with education and work experience in all aspects of the business operations of a commercial recording company. This includes, but is not limited to: production, marketing, promotion, rights management, licensing and publication. The company looks to continually explore options for using new technology in the creation, production and distribution processes. PAR will function under the operational guidelines of the University of Arizona, the Arizona Board of Regents and the School of Music and Dance. Though the student-run company will receive guidance from faculty, staff and an advisory board of industry experts, the students will control the business operations of the enterprise.
